DMTD-9 is a thiadiazole type metal deactivator, which has excellent oil solubility, copper corrosion inhibition and oxidation resistance. The oxidation resistance of base oil can be greatly improved when used in internal combustion engine oil. Used in gear oil, it can solve the contradiction of competitive adsorption between metal deactivator and sulfur bearing extreme pressure antiwear agent in the oil, not only has excellent metal deactivation performance, but also can keep good extreme pressure performance of the oil.
